Great strap!
I’m an avid fisherman and am always getting my watch band wet. I hate having a soggy and wet leather band on my wrist all day.I also hate having to switch between a silicone strap on weekends for fishing, yard, and garage work and then switching back to a nice looking leather strap to wear the same watch with a button down to the office on Monday. This strap is the best of both worlds. It’s waterproof and won’t get soggy. The leather top looks great and is nice enough to wear with a button down. Buy this strap, it’s the best strap for when you need the band to hold up to water and still look classy.Yeah, the leather is thin, and there are nicer top grain leather straps out there. But, those other leather straps won’t hold up to getting wet like this one or be as comfortable when they’re soaked.Yeah, there are softer silicone straps out there, but those don’t look as formal as this one can with it’s leather top. I’m sure Barton had trouble bonding the leather to a super soft silicone band, so the rubber is a bit more stiff. It’s still comfortable.I’ve soaked this band on several months worth of fishing trips and working in the garage and it still looks great and is holding up well.

Great looking perfect watch band. You’ll never be sorry to have purchased it!
I always had a problem with my watch turning on my wrist and I was forever adjusting it. However this band with its hybrid rubber lining against my wrist it is absolutely perfect. And the outer beauty of the leather makes it a perfect band.

It's a breeze to install the band.
I needed a new band. This fits the bill and the new technique of push button attachment pins certainly made this very handsome and tough wrist strap a "snap". I have a couple of personal complaints due to my age mostly, and not so much due to the quality of the watchband. My wrist has shrunken due to age is mostly the problem, but the band is too rigid with the rubber backing, It will not give or bend enough to conform to the curve of my wrist. The watch and band form a stiff circular band, more like a bangle bracelet, and the watch itself slides around my wrist. It is so stiff that it cannot be pulled any tighter to fit better. Only one more pre-drilled strap hole is left and that would make it too tight. I wish the band would soften up a bit to fit better, but that isn't going to happen. The quality and strength of the item makes it a problem to wear and to even unbuckle when it's on. I do wish there were a few more "holes" so to fit better. The band is not made to be "fitted by drilling a new aperture or set of such on the band. I like the product however and plan to keep using/wearing it. Don't let my review scare you away from it. It'll no doubt work on a standard size wrist...maybe now I know why grandfathers used pocket watches so often.

Nice strap but has quick release qc issue
Overall I like the look of the strap, the rubber was a little stiff at first but is starting to take shape after a few wears. The color of the leather was pretty close to the picture, but it does show wear fairly quickly. My main issue was that one of the quick release bars had no pull tab, so I had to use a tool to get it on the watch which was a pain. Will probably keep it but a bit disappointed to have received a new item with a broken or defective quick release.

Awful as many other Barton I have tried!
This is the 4th Barton I try outside of the silicone style and I have to say I am quite disappointed with the quality. This one in particular is really bad quality, it is stiff, bulky, the cider color looks like light tan and it looks and feels cheap. It reminds me of the Timex leather band which are quite cheap as well. I had to returned it because of the quality. Also, the they are quite pricy too! The only ones I like from this brand are the silicones because they do fit exactly as described but tend to absorb a lot of dust. Other than that, this brand sales bulky, stiff and pricy bands.

Exactly what I needed!
I'm not a fan of the look of Silicone bands that come with galaxy watches and was hoping to find anything that wasn't some form of Silicone/rubber/cheap looking metal. Finally stumbled upon Barton Watch Bands and loved their selection. Happy that I can have the classic look of leather while also the comfort of the rubber underside to keep it in place and feeling dry. Great design, perfect fit at 20mm, already have another band on the way! There is a small defect visible in the second picture, almost like 2 small cuts in the leather, but not enough to upset me when it will end up looking weathered eventually anyways!

Not bad BUT the quick release pins are GARBAGE
The strap design is similar to a pricey Austrian company's "Performance" line of straps. They're not as nice as those straps but for the money not bad at all. The rubber backing isn't as pliable as those straps but after a couple of weeks of breakin they conform well enough. The issue is the quick-release pins, THEY ARE GARBAGE. I've had the release tab/ball (that is the portion you use your fingernail to retract the pin) fall out of this strap, it's the 2nd time in the last month I've had a Barton quick release pin loose the retract tab.. In one case I had to destroy the strap to get it off of my watch. In the case of this particular strap was able to see the hole in the springbar left by the tab falling out to remove the strap.Overall I like this strap but the sprinbars are the main reason I dinged the strap, every Barton strap I have will shortly have the quick release bars replaced with traditional sprinbars. The quick release bars in their straps are failure prone.
