Monarch Specialtiesaccent side lamp table, 24" x 12" x 22, Grey

I'll preface by saying that I enjoy putting together IKEA furniture, and had purchased this table to match the "Dark Gray Stain" of an IKEA Hemnes dresser.Quality: The table arrived with one scratch in the lower platform. All other pieces were present and as expected. There are stickers provided to cover exposed screw heads. For a nursery, I was happy with this, since the plastic screw caps are choking hazards, but it would have been nice to have the screw heads sunk into the wood so that the stickers could lay flat.Assembly: I felt that the assembly was moderately complicated for what seemed like a simple table. One piece wasn't labeled with a sticker. The trickiest part was putting together the lower platform and the second pieces that form the legs. Instructions could definitely be clearer for these points, since the instructions don't call out the pilot holes in the leg pieces. (We put them in the wrong spot the first time and had to redo a step.)Final product: This table feels sturdy. Edges are a little sharp, so I'm considering placement away from recliners, etc. The color matches the dresser very well (slightly lighter, but similar toned). The assembly took two people about an hour to complete.Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase, but subtracted one star for slightly unclear instructions and the scratched piece.

We have a large living room so we have a Sofa loveseat, 2 recliners and 1 upholstered chair. We wanted narrow tables to be the end tables so we could keep the furniture relatively “tight” (next to each other in a traditional setup & so everyone could still converse, etc. without people sitting far enough away to feel left out). The size, and the matching of our decor, made them just what the furniture doctor ordered.

The only thing that was disappointing is the screws show and there were no little covers for them. It makes it look a little cheap. Had no luck in asking for the covers when we called the store.

Assembly was a challenge. One piece was missing two predrilled holes where wooden dowels were supposed to be to support the leg. I was also missing a screw and had to find a similar one in my toolbox. The stickers meant to cover the screws were rather useless and have already come off after a few days.Other than that the table is sturdy and I like the look of it for out space.

This was a little bit of an adventure to assemble as the screw holes were not very well started and I had to eyeball where to place some of them. Overall it's a nice piece for the money. The stickers that cover the screws don't match very well so I may not want this table out in the middle of the room where it is easily scrutinized.

This side table is nice and sturdy and compliments the rest of my similarly-toned furniture perfectly. I like it so much in fact that I bought a second one for the other side of my couch. It's fairly easy to assemble, however, I rushed the second one a bit and ended up screwing holes where there shouldn't have been. Not to worry though because I contacted the maker (Monarch Specialties) and they sent me replacement parts with no questions asked. They even had my shipping information which was unexpected but I am not complaining! Thank you!

I managed to get this used through Amazon, and boy am I glad I did. NO WAY is this thing worth $50. It is easy to assemble, but it's pretty cheap looking, with little stickers that you use to cover the screws (stickers that do not really match the color/grain on the veneer of the parts they're applied to).Fairly easy to assemble but I'm good at assembling things with minimal instructions. Their illustrations aren't the best. Once it's together, it seems pretty solid, and I've placed it behind another piece of furniture so no one will see how cheap it looks.As a $25 table, I would give it 4 stars, as a $50 (full price) table, I'd give it 2. So, I split the difference.

Using it to house my 10 gallon fish aquarium. Very striking appearance and Is not flimsy at all.
