I used these to time a Muzzle Brake on a 325 WSM. Worked like a dream. As others have said the shims stick together so make sure you separate them. Good selection in the pack.

Needed black shims which were harder to find than you’d think. These are good quality and packaged well.

These shims are fantastic. Perfect for installing muzzle devices that need to be timed (suppressor mounts, compensators, brakes, etc). That they are black oxide color is great, and means the device and your barrel blend together fairly seamlessly. Depending on your barrel and device, you could probably use one set to time up to two devices, so it's a fair price.1) As other have noted the slimmest ones are so thin that it's easy to think you're out a few. I had to rub the small and medium shims between my fingers to separate them out, and all were accounted for.2) Seller is the manufacturer and ships direct (as of this review) and is super fast. This came in 2 days, no different than Prime.

I stumbled upon these because I didn’t want to use the normal stainless steel shims. Everything else was black so I wanted to find some shim that were black also. They arrived quickly and I am very pleased with them! I will say that they can come stuck together, so you may need to pry them a part some, but I received all of the shims that were advertised. They worked perfectly to time the device!

Ordered 1/2x28 shims to line up my AAC muzzle break. The first order was lost by the post office or so we thought. I contacted Down Range Products and Todd quickly re mailed a second set of shims to me. The original set arrived two days after the replacement set made it to my house. Thank you Todd for standing behind your product and service, its much appreciated!The shims themselves come in a nice variety of sizes and allowed me to line up the muzzle break perfectly. I know some people have written negative reviews below, however I have now purchased multiple shim packs of different sizes with zero issues. I will continue to order my shims from Down Range in the future. Quality product, Quality packaging and Quality customer service.

Purchased but didn't end up using. Luckily the timing was perfect without using.
