Always Great
This is our third product from this manufacturer. Our Shih Tzu loves it. Sometimes the simplest of designs are the best of toys.

He loves them, they're relatively cheap and can last a while
Dog loves them. When they arrive I split the seam about an inch and remove all the stuffing. I leave the best part (squeaker) in. He chews them up to get to the squeaker and then chews that up too. After he's chewed the head off, he then uses the chewed up bear, which is now just a leather pocket, to tell us when he wants a treat as he puts it on our lap/leg, wherever he can to get our attention. Two things he loves about these when they're new. The smell of fresh leather and the squeaker. I can't re-new the smell of old leather but I have picked up a bagful of squeakers to refresh the sound. After chewed up we'll slip non-crumbly treats in to re-activate his interest and he chews it up all over again. He's so nuts-o for these that if he smells the fresh leather in the house he is relentless in his determination to figure out where it is and get his chops on it. I have to (try and draw a vacuum and) seal them up in Ziplocs to get them past his inquisitive nose. Once it's just a leather pocket for him to get a treat from it lasts for quite a while but like everything else, doesn't last forever.

My Dog Loves These
I have a 17lb Westie and these leather toys are her favorite chew toy. She does rip them apart pretty fast but she gets a lot of chewing before we have to throw it out. She does not seem to swallow much if anything. I see little pieces around which I throw in the trash. We do always monitor her when she is chewing on it. I think a bigger dog or one who eats toys this might not be great for. All dogs are different, and it works for her.

5 stars because my dogs loved it.
This toy arrived a few days ago. RIP, toy! We got 2 and both were reduced to scraps after about two days.BUT- my dogs loved them. That makes me happy. It’s not super sturdy for a teething puppy or an energetic senior, but I’d buy it again just because they enjoyed it so much.It has a nice feel, suede-like. And the stuffing is super soft, higher quality than what comes out of a lot of dog toys.
