Finance for Executives is frequently the voice of reason on my shoulder during strategic planning processes, project evaluation, pipeline investments, and resource allocation discussions. Having a reliable reference has really improved my interaction with finance business partners in my organization, such that I got a copy for all members of my team. I appreciate the structure, content, and examples, but most of all i know I can find reliable insight to help me ask the right questions.

This book delivers what it promises - a practical guide for managers (in finance). It's definitely not a big boring finance book with research and theories, but the right mix of practical examples and theory, presented in a very simple, clear and straightforward way. I like the most, that it starts with a chapter on Cost of Capital and then goes on, stressing along the way the importance of value and returns, not just accounting profits.Disclaimer: Author of this book was my MBA Finance professor last year. I have used the working version of this book last year for my studies, I have now also read the final version.

During my MBA studies I had my fair share of finance study books. Finance for Executives stands tall among them. By using real world examples the author folds layer by layer the fundamentals of today's finance. This book gave me the tools and understanding I use today in my job and personal investments.
