Strong and stable wifi connection.
Very stable connection from Basement to my Asus AC3200 router on main floor. Can easily stream large video files without stuttering. Very happy with the adapter. Plug and play installation by Windows 10. No need to install drivers manually. You can get the maximum benefit only if you have an AC router but it's backwards compatible to G and N as well.

Good throughput. Works in Linux Mint 20.
Getting 200MBps (fiber connection). Tested with "fast" CLI tool from fast.com. That seems insanely fast over wifi. It's so large that no matter how I use this it will block 2 ports on my computer. It really should ship with some sort of extender cable. The USB Wifi adapter that I bought for my Windows machine did.Now I gotta spend $5 on an extension cable or give up 2 ports for this adapter.Tech support is much better than I expected, got a response about a driver in about 8 hours (overnight).Loses 1 star for not including a short USB extender cable. Otherwise it would be 5.

Excellent high speed adapter with a couple of quirks.
While I have not run benchmarks for this adapter, it's clearly a faster user experience. This review is for the Windows 7 and Windows 10 O/S only. I am using it with a Linksys WRT1900AC router and an ASUS M5A97 motherboard.Pros - Tech support (via email) was quite good and patient. - Feels like good build quality, although I do not have experience using it in a situation where it is physically removed and reinstalled frequently. - Blazing fast speed. - Never drops a connection, rock solid performance. - Quick delivery. - Working just fine after six months - Survived the forced upgrade to Windows 10 without a blink.Cons - Somewhat thick, if plugged into a USB 3.0 port with another adjacent port, only a smaller USB plug will fit into that adjacent port - I made the mistake of downloading the most recent driver rather than using the one supplied, which is usually the best bet, but this disabled it completely. I finally de-installed the driver, re-ran the supplied CD, then when I plugged the adapter in it worked fine. - Sometimes takes a while to re-establish connectivity after waking the PC from sleep mode. - When it does re-connect, it burps out a message "We are doing a check or switch USB mode action, Provide better performance." Little to find on the internet, except that this might mean it is downgrading the adapter port speed to USB 2.0. Still investigating. - The Windows 10 driver is incorporated into the O/S.Overall, I would recommend this adapter for anyone looking for a great 802.11AC adapter. My experience has been good.
