Love this product . Star Anise has a very strong flavour so I use it sparingly . I decant from the large bag into some nice smaller jars , which I already own . Long term ,cheaper to buy in bulk .

Taste like smoke so not too happy Best to bash to reveal unsmoked surface, or grind it down to a powder to boost the aniseed flavour otherwise it tases like ashtray

Great Christmas decorations
This smelt amazing! So fresh and lovely! We used them for Christmas decorations, perfect for gifts at Christmas as this have a Christmas smell.

Perfect.
I make a lot of chicken stock, to use as a base for stews, curries, soups etc, and always add a few star anise as I love the flavour. It can work out quite expensive but this pack is really good value for your money, just put them in an airtight container and they will last a long time.
