Still possible to get non-LED bulbs for cooker hoods - excellent
When one of the bulbs blew in our cooker hood, I was steeling up to being forced to replace it with an LED bulb. Although LEDs are great for saving energy, my experience with them in the rest of the house has been "mixed", to put it nicely. Most seem to blow or start flashing around the time that an incandescent bulb would have blown, and a clever person told me that it's the driver and power supply electronics going out of spec rather than the actual LEDs themselves failing.So, in a nice, hot cooker hood, I didn't really want to fit an LED bulb, especially since replacing the bulb(s) involves some dismantling work to get to them.These are genuine, old-school, Thomas Edison approved incandescent bulbs, with an E14 screw thread. An exact match for the one that blew, in both shape and light output. Very pleased with them.

These blow quickly
Quite a high wattage for this size of bulb. This is the max my holder is rated for but one bulb blew immediately.Another bulb received fault so didn’t leave me many left but they seem fine so far

Might edit review after a while about longevity
Better quality compared to the old one that I've, offers bright light (comparatively). Will update the review after at least 6 months of use on longevity if it lasts that long!
