**Q: Any weight limit?**
A: The question is too general to give an answer.  You probably cannot lift a boat with them. but the weight needed to get your lure to the level you want is controlled by your down rig line and how well you tie your rig up. these are sturdy and will do the job, I think. you only need a small weight to hold your lure down while you are trolling. If you have to use a lot of weight stop trolling so fast.

A: you do not use these to hold the ball there are used to release the line that goes to thr lure
