These are very sturdy and the lids go on without a lot of hassle and seal well. The cups don't leak (I let one sit full of water for 2 days sitting on my counter and it didn't even get soft) but Liquids will leak out if you hold them upside down because the lids have holes to allow steam to escape, but they work great in the microwave. I really like them to make my own egg bowls. I can prepare several with chopped veggies, cheese and sausage crumbles in the bowl and store in the fridge or freezer. When I want a quick breakfast I just break in an egg and microwave. These work great when I'm on the road in a hotel or camping in my RV. They also work well for things like left over mac and cheese or casserole and they are good for soup as long as you keep they upright. If you are worried about leaks through the holes in lid you can place a piece of plastic wrap over the cup before you put the lid on and they seal well. Just remove the plastic before microwaving. I definitely will be buying these again.

I bought the 50 pack, 12 ounces, white. I tried one this morning for oatmeal which is perfect for on the go. I put the oatmeal in & added the hot water once I got to my destination. I'm sure it will hold up fine should I need to add the hot water prior to leaving the house.I think these could be useful for hot soup & chili as well...Ciao.

This container is very sturdy and I like that but the very strong chemical smell gets in the way of the food. Also makes you wonder if it is safe to use given the chemical smell.

The tops for the cups were a bit too small. I had to force the top on bending the top of the cup to make it fit. It needs to be a tad bit bigger
