Quality build and clever design
Lovely quality, love the separate switch so you don’t have to press the dimmer switch in. Not cheap but worth it, suspect it will last a lot longer than the simple dimmer I’m replacing

Does the job: simple to install, works as expected.
Yes, it's a lightswitch. It works. The switch turns the light on and off, and the dimmer gives smooth variation in brightness from barely enough to see by right up to full. It doesn't make the low hum that some dimmers do, and the push to switch on and off has a solid and satisfying click. My only slight complaints are that the dimmer knob sits quite far from the faceplate and so gives a bit more of a view of what's underneath than some might like, and there's a noticeable delay between the click and the lights actually turning on, but those are both minor. One note - a lot of reviews complain that the screws to hold the dimmer module in are missing. These are mistaken; the switch module is held in by screws, but the dimmer module does not use screws. If you examine the dimmer module and faceplate you can see there is nowhere for screws to go in the first place. Around the knob on the dimmer module, there's a threaded section which comes with a small ring screwed onto it. Unscrew that, pop the module into the faceplate with the spindle through the hole, then re-screw the ring back on. This holds the dimmer module pretty firmly, and then push the dimmer knob onto the spindle to hide the whole thing (mostly).

Excellent value - Great product !
Does exactly what it says. Fantastic value product and great quality. I used it to replace a Grid switch, where the LED dimmer module went faulty. This item cost less than the faulty grid dimmer, let alone the standard switch, mounting plate and facia it replaced. So this combi unit is excellent value when compared to costs of separate parts of an equivalent grid unit. Highly recommended...

Good product
Easy to install and works really well. (I had to buy a dimmable led bulb as the standard led one was flickering.) Update: 5/09/25 I was trying to find a similar dimmer switch for a single light for my front room but after 3 switches bought on Amazon which were all noisy I decided to buy one of those again even though it was a switch with a rocker switch. These are brilliant and won't make any noise On Amazon the single Lieber dimmer switch is £10 more expensive than a double dimmer/rocker switch of the same brand, which doesn't really make sense.

Great dimmer zero buzz or flicker.
Works well when other dimmers failed to eliminate buzzing, dims a 12 light 5w setup from 0ff to full brightness zero flicker. 10/10

Elegant faceplate but needs a LOT of space (much more than most) in the back box it fits into
This combo dimmer/toggle switch has a very pleasing, elegant faceplate but the 'award-winning technology' of the dimmer module comes at a price; it protrudes a staggering 29mm beyond the back edge of the faceplate - this is the space you'll have to have available in the back box you're fitting it into. In any house this can be a problem, space in light switch back boxes can be tight with the incoming cable(s) in the way. In our case it's even worse, we've recently moved into a brand-new house, and electrical installations are now switching from doing the 'loop in' of the permanently live feed to the next light in the circuit (plus the neutral too) FROM the ceiling rose TO the light switch. That means all those cables we're used to seeing terminated inside a ceiling rose now appear in the light switch back box instead! This does make life much easier when you're replacing a ceiling rose with a decorative light fitting - no more fiddly cables to join together with terminal blocks and stuff up into the ceiling! - but having all the cables inside the light switch back box is a nightmare when trying to fit a dimmer module inside. Sure, you can buy spacers to fit behind the switch and create more space inside the box, but we'd prefer our light switches to look elegant on the wall without these. As well as this one we also ordered "Belns Melns LED Dimmer and Rocker Wall Light Switch Combo 2 Gang 2 Way Switch Trailing Edge Dimmer" (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BVR25YNG) to take a look at - on this one the dimmer module only protrudes 19mm, a whole centimetre less! Maybe it doesn't have all the technology of this one - although unlike this one, it does have a minimum dimming level setting on the back - but more importantly for us, it fits - just!

Great product. The construction is solid and high quality. Very simple basic design that doesn’t feel out of place. No buzzing . The device even has a min/max brightness setting so you can set the most appropriate levels for your specific dimmable bulb. The wiring was a little confusing for me , but it’s working so it seems I got it right.
