No cap retention divots. Sending back.
Specifically purchased this one because the pics show the divots in the cap bottom ridge for the spring loaded ball cap retention system. Item showed up with a smooth bottom ridge. Didn't even open the bag the item was in once I saw this. I would be concerned the cap would work itself loose without the ball tension in those missing divots. Thankful for free returns.

Not worth it.
The 870 barrel nut has indents to receive a little spring loaded ball to lock it in place. This cap does not have those indents so you will be tightening the nut after every shot. Don’t buy it
