Just okay.
I got this to replace a nearly eight year old HP Pavilion laptop. While the old one was still trudging along, I didn't want to wait until it croaked before getting a new one and the price for the Flagship was the best I'd found. It has twice the RAM but no DVD and the same size storage, etc. I don't do heavy duty computer work, just shopping, reading, internet browsing, games, social media. None the less, I was looking forward to the zippy new computer experience. Alas. it was not to be. The new one is not a bit faster and is in no way better than the old one. One thing is for sure, I wish I'd held out for a back lit keyboard because the letters/numbers are dark gray on the gray keys and very hard to see. For the price, I guess it will do, and I will keep it, but I am disappointed.

Great laptop. Bad fan placement.
Great laptop. Only problem I have is the placement of the fan. I play a game called Elite Dangerous, and after about an hour of playing, the laptop overheats and automatically shuts down. I have to put something under the back corners to lift it up so it can BREATHE, and even after I do that, it STILL overheats. Other than that, I love it because it's lightweight and thinner than I thought it would be. It also came with great storage space and I'm willing to bet it could run Crysis.
