Excellent coverage, easy to install using Android app, well worth buying.
I purchased a router and 2 satellites. Using the android Netgear Nighthawk app, it was quite easy to get the router to work with my Spectrum modem, and connect my devices. I then connected 2 satellite mesh stations, again using the app. No issues connecting (as long as you are not too far away from the base router. If it doesn't connect, move the satellite a few feet closer. All in all, very happy with the results, and my overall internet speed is at triple what it was for devices that are further away from the base router. The range is doubled, and is far superior to the worthless Spectrum Wifi6 router that they demanded be installed, which replaced an earlier Spectrum Wifi5 router that worked just fine. The Spectrum Wifi6 router had less coverage, and stepped down my devices furtherest away to about 25mps, when my cable signal is 500mps. The Netgear Nighthawk mesh system is so far superior to what I had before, I completely recommend you give it a try, especially at the low price of an Amazon refurbished system, which is 1/2 the price of a new one.

Great, utilitarian mesh system....
I used to be a router snob. No more. I had an ultra-expensive router at my home a few years ago when a friend asked me to come help him install this system in his new home. I did and it was easy to install--and it gave him fine speed for his needs, adequately covering a 6000 sq. ft home. My ultra-router has been nothing but a pain in the years since while this Netgear ultra-cheap mesh set has just plugged away, performing reliably well in my friend's house. So when I needed a router for my vacation cottage, this is what I bought--a refurbished mesh set for dirt cheap, and it's working just fine. I like the fact that I can manage the vacation cottage's router from home. But most of all, I like that it's cheap, reliable and sufficiently fast to handle my 300 megabits/second service. Really, this is all most of us will ever need. And in the recent past I've spent over $500 on a single router. The only thing this set seriously lacks is wired ethernet that goes faster than 1gb/sec.

Best mesh system I've owned
First, this was a great deal, couldn't pass up an Amazon refurbished item at this price point. It wasn't the easiest mesh to set up, you legitimately need to follow the steps very carefully, otherwise you'll have to reset all three devices and start from scratch. Once all three devices are set and it has gone through it's software updates, the mesh system works flawlessly. Coming from a TP link mesh system, this is a huge upgrade; the switch between the main modem and the satellite connections is seamless, the speeds are excellent, the ability to connect a device on Ethernet to the satellite for faster speeds is amazing. All three satellites are sleek, they mesh well with the decor of my house, there's no antennas or flashy lights everywhere. I 3d printed a bracket for one of them and mounted it on a wall, out of sight and out of mind. The app works great, if for some reason you need to reboot the router, monitor who's using all your bandwidth, or stop your kids from using data on their Xbox when they should be studying, you can do it from there.

Great Entry MESH WiFi system.
I have a fun setup of 1x Main and 5x Sub units for a MESH network that covers a lot of space and yard area. Currently using this in a single home environment, where we extended our outdoor yard coverage, and added a MESH sub unit in our Shed. Lets just say this works great for the SOHO user. My biggest problem with Netgear is the App they make us use to manage our device. Itsucks, and having to see ads to upgrade to subscriptions is a big turn off. pfsense would be better if we had better AP options.

Disappointing
So I have a 1000mbps wifi plan. My current Deco mesh wifi system was only delivering about 60mbps to devices. I purchased this Nighthawk mesh system in hopes to speed that up to at least 100mbps. Nope. Setup was easy, the app walks you through it, but its a bit annoying trying to sell you protection and free trials with nonstop notifications every 1 to 2 seconds on your phone. Once set up, my devices were at 4-8mbps. Horrible. So I called support. Spent hours installing firmware updates mannually, resetting, recreating networks, changing channels. Allowing to run 24 hours. Nothing helped. Still VERY slow speeds. Horrible dropped connections. Strong signal strength but kept losing internet. Had to box back up and set back up my Deco. Not sure if I want to waste time trying others?

It's cheap, but it works!
I had a Spectrum provided SageCom router that could not provide a good wi-fi signal throughout the house. I had to plug the gap with an old Apple Airport which meant we had to switch SSID frequently. I also had to divide 2G and 5G services or 2G-only home automation devices would not instal or connect reliably. Two music streaming devices would not connect reliably at all, and I had to hard wire them. I thought we needed a Mesh system, but most of them are around $2k, including most of Netgear's other models. Then I saw this Netgear Mesh setup for around $100 and thought I'd give it a go - after all, with Amazon you can always send it back! I am so glad I tried it. Setup was easy, and now we have: (a) faster wi-fi speeds overall (b) a much wider coverage of wi-fi (c) no need to switch between networks (d) my music streamers now connect happily, and I could remove the wires (e) effective and reliable installation and support of 2G-only devices without splitting networks. My home is full of home automation devices, and I install them for a living, This is my first ever first Amazon review because I am that enthusiastic. Go for it...

Best upgrade for the price
One of the best upgrades I made for my home internet. The WiFi speed is incredibly fast and supports all our smart devices without any issues. Great value for the price.

Might be challenging
I have spent 8 hours trying to get this working. I think I will get it working but it has been challenging.
