Autism feeding therapy
Bought this for my daughter so she could use it at home as part of feeding therapy. She has autism and is completely G-tube dependent but she is advancing towards eating by mouth. This has helped her realize that there was no harm and improved sensory . She uses it often so I ran it through the dishwasher and cleaned it. It’s very easy to clean when I do messy play with her. It does have a hole at the bottom so I try to feed it dry foods unless we’re doing messy play. It also allows for compliance when she’s not willing to try some thing or put it in her mouth. I just encourage her to feed the toy instead of having a behavior so it does help a lot with that.
