Q: I have a 2 part question: are these hot on the face and do they work if you are a side sleeper; does it slip off?

They are hotter in the summer,I find I push it up in my sleep. I don't like the mask tight on my face so I wear it loose. It does slip up some however ai cannot sleep good without the mask.

Q: Is the strap thick or thin, particularly in the back?

Hello, thank you for your question. The strap is approximately 3/4" wide, and about 1/8" tick on both sides.

Q: How do you wash this eye mask?

Wash by hand with gentle laundry soap and rinse well. Hang to dry. Don't soak it because the layers are glued together and will fall apart.
