The mask is very soft but has ability to hold its shape which is contoured on the inside to make room for your eye lashes. Great if you are naturally gifted with lashes or if you use falsies.

My window is on the side of the house and the morning sun shines in brightly at around 7:00am and wakes me up. I have dark blue drapes but they don't work all that well. I bought this mask to help me sleep in, however it didn't work out. The padding that wraps around your eyes doesn't really let your eyes breath all that well, I was sweating and hot. The strap is an adjustable velcro strap, if it's snug enough to hold the mask in place it feels too tight, if you loosen it up the mask shifts all over the place, I tried loosening it as much as I could without the mask falling off but it was difficult to keep it in place and I still woke up with a headache. Other reviewers rave about it so that is why I bought it but after one night I learned sleep masks are not for me. All that aside if you position it properly on your face it does block out all light. I doubt I'll use it again, instead I am going to buy better drapes that will block out the morning light.

I love this sleep mask. It is really confortable and block the light really good. I put a picture of the drug store sleep mask I used to wear for sleeping. As you can see the rubber band is sturdier on the 3D Sleep Mask, the drug store one broke easily. The 3D sleep Mask took the shape of my face to prevent any light to come in, the drug store one I could really see light at the bottom. For the price it is hard to beat you get two mask. I'm really satisfy with my purchase and it make my night better.

Actually really pissed off about this item. Bought them once and loved them, bought them a second time and I get some cheap knock offs that are complete garbage and took three weeks to be delivered even though I am a prime member. Won’t be ordering this crap again.

I've never worn an eye mask in my life, but realized that complete darkness is important for great sleep. I didn't think that I could adapt to sleeping with an eye mask but this eye mask is so easy to use. It's better than I expected. I actually love using it now! It's LIGHT so you don't really feel it. It's contoured shape allows me to easily open and close my eyes when wearing it so that my long lashes don't brush against it. And its shape conforms so well to my face that I get complete darkness. The Velcro at the end of the stretchy straps allow you to adjust it to your head size and then you don't have to fidget with that again. I don't need the ear plugs that came with it so I haven't tried those.
