Can you pull up carpet staples with this?

This would be a great solution for pulling up the carpet and tack strips, but the SPEC OPS 10" claw bar (SPEC-D10CLAW) would be better for getting the staples up as the crowns are narrow and the thin wire staples could break with the 15" flat bar.

Why are they not made in usa

That is a question u need to write the company/ manufacture and ask them.. otherwise it’s a great tool.
