We have received two of these units from different vendors and both arrived with multiple issues. The packaging was OK on both occasions but the furniture inside was not suitable for usage. Eagle Furniture must have awful quality control and I would avoid at all costs. Its simply not worth the hassle of ordering, taking delivery then all the back and forth trying to get it returned.

Arrived in 2 boxes... perfect condition. You need to use the bracket provided to secure the hutch. This is the Autumn Sage stain. It took 5 weeks to get but was worth the wait. I could not be happier.

Good grief! I have never in my life received a piece of furniture in this condition before! There was zero quality control and the materials are terrible! After searching high and low for two years for an extra tall piece of furniture to fit a specific wall in my house, I was happy to find this hutch and the price seemed great for its size. Well, you know that saying, “if something seems to be too good to be true….?” After waiting a month, the unit arrived in two large separate boxes. They seemed a lot lighter than what we were expecting and after unwrapping them we realized that this hutch is made from a compressed plywood, not solid wood. The finish on it is awful! There are chips in the paint, you can see the bumps where the screws are drilled in, there are bare patches that were missed, and there is a spot on the side where it looks like someone tried to rub the paint off with acetone. :-/ There are nails coming through the wood in several places, the doors don’t hang evenly, and one of the glass panes is scratched. How can any legitimate company send something out like this?! All that said, as crazy as this is going to sound, after going back and forth, we have actually decided to keep it, refinish it, and fix the doors and glass because it is the right height and style that we need. Thankfully, Amazon worked with us and gave us a heavily reduced price for it, but I actually feel we are still paying too much because this thing is honestly not worth a penny! I’m leaving this review as a warning for potential future buyers to beware of what you will be getting! If you want a quality piece of furniture, this is definitely not it!
