Connected a PS3 and a cable box to two of the ports and everything seems to be working just fine. The device that is powered on most recently seems to get the priority (e.g. if you are watching the cable box and the PS3 gets powered on, the switch will automatically change to the PS3 feed), and if the device you are watching gets powered off, it switches automatically to a live input. I tried various combinations of turning devices on and off, and I think I only had to resort to using the manual selector once, which wasn't a problem at all, provided you leave it accessible. Picture and sound quality appear unaffected. There is some minor signal noise when manually switching between live input feeds, but it is only momentary and not surprising. Overall, it seems like a good quality build. The surface is a bit too shiny, which makes it somewhat difficult to read the input labels and other text, but that is not a big deal.
