My Cats Love this food!!
Switched to this brand after my cats kept getting sick from the Friskies canned food. They are doing much better and love this food! well worth the little extra I pay.

Was worried about bad reviews: Buy 1 or 2 before you buy a whole case.
After seeing the brand and formula change for the product to the new look and recipe, and after seeing so many people saying their animals hated it and now they have a whole case of worthless food, I have this to say to you:1) In the future, buy maybe just 1 or 2 cans locally first before committing to an entire case of a product.2) Mix the new food with the old food so it's 50/50 while you transition. You can refrigerate the unused portion and heat it back up for 5 seconds in the microwave to get it to a luke warm temp.THEN:I was previously buying the Healthy Gourmet version of this when I was surprised to see it was replaced with the new product. My cat always, always begged for the older version of the food, but when it came time to eat it, most of the time she left it alone once all the juiciness was gone. To entice her to keep eating I'd constantly have to re-pile it together or she'd eventually lose interest and there'd be a lot of left over food to throw away. I'd started giving smaller portions at a time so there would be less waste, but often she'd still only eat about 1 (2 at most) tbsp at a time.NOW:She still begs for food when it's close to lunch time, but I noticed clean plates when she was finished. I started giving her slightly larger portions each day to get closer to the serving size. Every time a clean plate without having to regroup the food together or monitor her eating.Conclusion:- Every pet will be different and you need to do your own due diligence to see what they like. If you're complaining about wasted money because of buying a whole case and they don't like it, you only have yourself to blame. Always buy single cans when trying out a new brand/favor/recipe change before committing to bulk purchases.- My cat seems to really prefer the new more than the old based on eating more of it, and without encouragement from me to get her to finish her plate. So before you are wary from all the negative reviews, please try out a single can or two cans (mix the first can with the old food, then try the second can by itself after they finish the first mixed batch). If they like it, then you can commit to a bulk/case purchase.

I find it to be great for the cats.
Hey, sorry for my last review. About the can that had maggots in it. It threw me off a bit. I later thought about it and figured that I might have been a little unreasonable in some areas. I suppose the one can simply got bumped when it was being transferred. Accidents happen. Hopefully, it never happens again. I talked to the vet and they said that if a happens to eat any maggots, they'll be fine. It's only when fly eggs get in dead or rotting tissue that it becomes a problem. Anyway, the cats love the food. And I've been giving it to them every day. Though, I do feel like that next time might be a better idea to just buy it from a store whenever it's available.

Made my cat sick
I try to buy higher quality food for my cat. She gets just a spoonful of soft food as a “treat” every day, in addition to her Iams dry food. This Blue Buffalo was on sale so I jumped at the opportunity to try it because it is advertised as such high quality. Maybe not so much. After three days of one spoonful of this soft food, my very healthy kitty started throwing it up. I didn’t jump to the apparent conclusion. Waited a week and tried again. She didn’t seem to react at first but about the third can she was throwing it up again. I gave the rest away and went back to my usual brand. My fur baby hasn’t vomited since. Can’t recommend this.
