This fit the bill perfectly. I’ve had it for about 5 months and it’s holding up very well. It seems to lay pretty flat when not filled with stuff but accommodates my stuffing it when needed. Just the right amount of pockets. Not too few or too many. The luggage handle strap comes in handy too!

I needed a new laptop backpack to replace my previous backpack that was wearing out, which was also a SwissGear.I am an IT professional who needs a backpack that looks professional, and is able to carry the necessities, my laptop, laptop charger, various adapter cables, an iPad, a tablet, and a few odds and ends. This backpack checked all those boxes for me. It is the perfect size for everyday carry, without being large enough that I end up adding extraneous items that I don't need, which ends up making the backpack heavy and awkward.I find the size and layout of the backpack and it's pockets to be perfect for my needs. It holds my 15" laptop securely, and the pockets in the other compartments hold my iPad and tablet, pen, etc. The side pocket holds a Nalgene water bottle securely. I really like how it stretches, holding the water bottle tightly. I don't know if that elastic will wear out and the pocket will stretch out over time.The straps are nicely padded, distributing the weight nicely. They feel a little too short, keeping the backpack higher on my back that my previous model.After having the backpack for only a few days, the one zipper pull broke on the main compartment. I will replace it with paracord.

This is sturdy, with plenty of pockets and well-made zippers. It also holds my 13-inch MacBook safely along with reading material, snacks and a water bottle. Great for airports and planes (fits under the seat).

I use this as a carry on bag and it’s exactly what I wanted. Lightweight and has the strap to go over a luggage handle. Lots of pockets to keep things organized.

We bought this for our daughter's hybrid return to middle school campus. With the pandemic protocols in place she can't leave her large, heavy books at school and must carry them back and forth along with her PC. This backpack has both the size and the sturdiness to stand up to that strain. The seams are thick and I don't see any sign of them separating from the load. The padded PC compartment is very good for protecting her computer from the daily bumps and drops that kids, school and backpacks entail. Finally the padded shoulder straps and carrying handle are well-designed to minimize the strain when lifting or wearing the backpack. I highly recommend this model.
