Bought these 4 and now I'm getting really great audio quality, despite an AC running next to me and other noises (family, traffic, keyboard) - Microphone boom arm - xlr to xlr cable (ugreen 2 meter) - XM8500 - M-Track Solo Just remember to keep the mic close to your mouth, put a pop filter loosley on the mic (so it stops plosives better)

Everything was as described.

Good microphone preamp for recording Crystal clear. Its basic value for money but price should be lower.

Build quality could be better.

Too much noise when you keep dial of interface at 8 o'clock to get listenable audio. Much noise in this interface i will prefer you to add some more money and buy a good one interface

My order M-Audio M-Track solo Not functioning, I can’t use it It doesn’t allow sound in and out upon several trials and checks and settings etc . I bought this below two weeks ago and it is not listed in the return or replace list of my orders. Kindly take note. Thanks

So I bought this as a 'first one' in terms of audio interfaces. I play guitar and wanted to be able to connect my electric guitar to a computer. I tried this on two platforms: Win10 and MacOS Win10: - Drivers installed without issue. Limited configuration options however. - Had issues with delay between guitar and sound coming out of the speakers. Made it unusable for me on my laptop (8th Gen Core i5, 36GB RAM) but others might have better luck. - Software: --- MPC Beats works out the box - just correctly select driver and in/output. --- Revalver has registration issues. It needs to save a hardware key to flashdrive but then fails to do so and very few effects / amps are actually available after successful activation. Not worth the effort to be honest. --- Does NOT include ProTools anymore - so take note. MacOS Monterey - Literally plug & play. No drier installation necessary. - Did not install any software for it - used GarageBand instead. - No sound delay. Select correct input/output in Garageband and you are up and running in seconds - Recorded my first piece of music 4min after plugging it into the Mac. I am sure there are many more things you can do with this than what I am using it for. Overall, I am quite happy with the purchase and the quality for the price.

After being plagued with "higher end" XLR interfaces that in next-to-no time quickly were giving out and would require frequent unplugs and replugs, this interface was a breath of fresh air after about 2 years of service with no issue. No software needed which makes this friendly for just not Windows but Mac and Linux as well, unfortunately still needs USB type-B cable rather than USB-C, oh well. Another pain point of others was audio latency. Fortunately, between both the microphone monitoring and PC-to-headphone latency, I'm happy to report that there was very little compared to the others that I had tried. Probably not the best compared to a direct sound card through a PCI slot, but still very usable. For audiophiles using their interface for running headphones off of: The interface is only rated for 50 Ohms, but I get plenty of volume on 64 and 128 Ohm headphones without sacrificing quality at about 8.5 on the output volume dial, with enough headroom to go to 9 if I need for a rather significant boost to volume, after which then above 9 gets pretty bad. It's fine for about 99.9% of people, just not the crazed audiophiles. It's a very no-nonsense, budget-friendly interface. My only chief complaint is using USB-B rather than USB-C, but otherwise this is very usable for the average PC setup enthusiast and content creator.

Been using this thing for a while now. Drives both my Marantz condenser mic and an Audio Technica pro broadcast headset (with built in XLR dynamic mic), perfectly. Not too much to say otherwise, it's well built, simple, basic, and easy to use. I've been running it on Mac, no fuss. Just a reliable no-nonsense bit of tech that will blend into the background and be forgotten about, just doing it's job - no drama!
