Could be a tighter fit
Only been used twice since purchase, works well enough but if feel that it could have been a tighter fit.

Facile à remplacer
il faut tout d'abord fendre par le haut l'ancien axe, et terminer de le dégager avec un tournevis en faisant bien attention de ne pas endommager la base en alu de la machine. Le nouvel axe s'insère à force, au maillet, après avoir nettoyé et graissé l'axe moteur. Attention à bien choisir le type de machine, les axes des nouveaux modèles sont différents

Magimix have redesigned this spindle to make it less prone to failure. The new version is black and has splines to engage with the revised metal blades. The Magimix website has instructions on how to leaver off the old one. They sell a combined kit of new blade type and new spindle type relatively cheaply.
