RESTOP 2 - Portable Toilet Solid (Poop) and Liquid (Pee) Leak Proof Waste Bag - Toilet Paper and Wet Wipe Included

Used this wag bag for the first time on Glacier Peak this weekend after getting off the Gerdine Glacier. You never want to have to use one of these, but I can confirm that the set up is actually really good. The bag opens up and then it’s actually like a garbage bag on the inside that will wrap way over the edge of the original bag so that if you miss a little bit, at least it’s not getting on the edge that you would need to touch to then put the bag into the original bag. It’s got powder at the bottom to help congeal everything as well as a package of toilet paper and a hand sanitation wipe for after. I still brought a freezer zip loc bag to double bag this wag bag, but the original seal did seem secure. So anyways, can confirm that this is a high quality wag bag to take mountaineering that does not leak getting off the mountain. And there was no smell either, which confirms that the seal was good. I’d continue to buy this again.

Jeder der das kennt, der geht einfach entspannter in solche Situationen, falls der Notfall Eintritt, da man das Geschäft sehr diskret Abwickeln kann.

First time using a wag bag and it went well. For me it was easier to pick up the waste rather then aim for the bag. Only noticed an odor once while hiking out. To be extra safe I also use a gallon ziplock bag.

Work fine. Overpriced online though. If you're going to a national park or state park, you can usually get these for around $1-$2 each.

Were it not for the cost, I would give these bags five stars. Compared to other WAG bags, it is a little expensive, but I believe the extra cost is worth it. Out of the two types we tried on our recent backpacking trip, this was the only one that did not stink after sitting around, utilized, for a couple of hours. Two full days later, after hiking out from our three day trip, there was still no discernible odor, even using the up-close sniff test. The other bags, a very popular brand, were stinky enough that an up-close sniff test was not needed, or possible. I was able to use one bag two days in a row, and probably could have used it again before considering it completely full. I like to keep my backpack size small. This bag is slightly bulky, even when unused, but that turns out to be a small issue, since the somewhat more bulky Mylar-type bag is what I believe allows this thing to seal in the odor. Some previous reviews stated that this product was difficult to use, but I did not have any trouble. I am accustomed to doing my business while in the wilderness, which may account for this. I would buy this product again.
