Dover How to Draw Animals

This is a gem for the price. I'm very happy with my purchase. I bought this for a six-year-old who likes to draw. Clear steps for them to move from simple shapes to a finished drawing. Thirty animals for them to draw so there is a lot of creative juice for them to use to make their own scenes. The author has included a practice page next to each lesson, but it is not really necessary as the kids will want their own drawing paper to use. But I am not an artist; maybe you would want the practice page for your child. Also, these pictures are simple, perhaps cartoonish. If you are searching for a higher level and more realistic shapes, this isn't the book for you. It was perfect for my young grandson just learning to draw.
