This is a high-quality notebook — but the price will definitely make you pause. The paper is thicker than standard notebook paper (similar to Moleskine weight), the pages are numbered, and there’s a built-in back pocket for storing loose notes. The softcover has a smooth faux-leather feel while still being flexible enough to fit inside a traveler’s notebook cover, which was important for me. It also includes an elastic closure and lays flat nicely when open. That said, $30 for a notebook feels steep. I understand you’re paying for the brand, consistent paper quality, and thoughtful details like numbered pages and the storage pocket — and I couldn’t easily find another B5 softcover with similar features. Still, this sits firmly in the premium stationery category. All that said, I genuinely love the notebook and don’t regret the purchase at all. It feels intentional and well-made every time I use it. If you value structure, quality paper, and brand reliability, it’s a solid choice. If you’re just looking for a basic notebook, there are more budget-friendly options out there.

I adore this brand. It’s a great size to travel with and is light enough to pack freely. It’s also sturdy enough to write without a hard Lenes surface underneath. The page count is exactly what I need. I like the two bookmarks and the back pocket insert. The pages don’t allow ink to bleed through and the color is classic. Overall it’s worth it.

I appreciate the size! I was skeptical of the soft cover but it grew on me. The paper is a bit thinner than the normal smaller leuchtturm I carry but the functionality is the same.

I've been scrapbooking and junk journaling for a couple years, and have used many types of journals and composition books for my hobby. When Is aw the Leuchtturm1917 recommended on social media by other journalists, I went ahead and ordered it for myself. Wow - it beats all the other journal books I've ordered, The quality is unmatched, and I filled it completely full, so it was very durable and great quality. This is the only book I'm going to be using from now on for my hobbies. True Story.

E' un bel taccuino della dimensione che adoro. La copertina è morbida e piacevole al tatto. La carta è un colora avorio estremamente gradevole ma ha anche un grande difetto: l'effetto ghosting è rilevante e spiacevole visto comunque il costo non economico del prodotto. Peccato perché altrimenti sarebbe un taccuino perfetto.

Am Notizbuch gefällt mir am besten das Format - genau richtig zwischen dem etwas großen Din A4 und dem mir häufig etwas zu kleinen Din A5. Perfekt. Auch das Softcover ist ansprechend gestaltet und wertig. Die Seiten und das Inhaltsverzeichnis entsprechen dem Leuchtturm Standard und sind der Grund, weswegen das schon mein drittes Notizbuch von denen ist. Abzüge gibt es 1. für den Preis: Das A5-Format kostet trotz mehr doppelt so vieler Seiten und Hardcover-Einband weniger. 2. dafür dass beim Blanko-Heft keine karierte/ linierte Unterlage dabei ist. Das ist beim A5-Hardcover-Format der Fall und das kostet wie gesagt weniger 3. Dafür, dass weniger Sticker zum Beschriften des Buchtitels dabei sind, wobei das zu auch gut verkraftbar ist Fazit: Alles in allem eine Kaufempfehlung trotz genannter Einschränkungen. Das Format, das Inhaltsverzeichnis mit den nummerierten Seiten, die Lesebändchen und allgemein schöne Gestaltung des Notizbuches und die hintere Falttasche sind seinen Preis dann am Ende doch wert. Die Abzüge sind zwar ärgerlich, aber auch nicht allzu störend.
