Saved me from complete nwb
With this product I am able to do heel touch weight bearing without damaging my cast. I have a broken 5th metatarsal and I'm allowed to heel touch but without the shoe it would smash the heel of my cast. With this there is cushion and it also keeps the bottom of the cast clean. The heel touching makes doing stairs so much easier since my arms aren't the strongest using just the crutches.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
This cast boot is not adequate for what it is meant to do. For one thing it falls off when you are depending on being more stable. The straps are too short. Save your money & buy another choice.

Used as a cast cover for the farm
I live on a farm with free range chickens aka dirty birds who control bugs, yet leave droppings all over. This fit over the bottom of my cast perfectly. It allowed me balance when needed at the last part of the cast purgatory (think standing and pivoting) also gave cushion when I spaced my limited motion. Kind of a big flip flop with Velcro!

Cheaply made
comfort level on a scale of 10 being the best ... is a 5. Don't be mislead ... the sole is flat and not contoured for comfort. The shoe is flimsy and the sizing runs small. Sizing says it will fit a size 8.5-10. If you wear a size 8.5 then his will fit but I wear a size 10 and had to order the next size up to an 11. Not expecting anything great when the new size arrives. Will adjust review accordingly if needed.Revised: Had high hopes but the Size 11 was just as bad as the others. Sent that back as well.

This shoe saved my job!
I live in Colorado and was put in a non walking cast up to my knee due to breaking my foot, and the snow and ice has made it really hard. I have a knee scooter but needed to put my foot down occasionally just to balance. Having this shoe ensured I wouldn't slip or ruin my cast. I would recommend this shoe to everyone in the same situation!
