I see the item ships in 1-2 months. Is this a mistake? Can I get the item sooner?

Manufacturer says it filters particulates down to 50 microns. I’m assuming he made a typo and meant to say 5 microns.

Will this filter out gas from a rusted Jerry Can so that it is safe to use in a vehicle?
