These tools are fantastic!! They're so sharp and very well packaged so you don't accidentally ingure yourself pulling them out of the leather bundle. They're not expensive for the quality you're getting, and they've held up well under decent pressure and use. They're super easy to use and great for beginners (and really all skill levels) - the picture is what my husband made for me as his first project!

Very nice. Right out of the box I went in to a chunk of cherry burl. It went throw it like Bass wood. Very happy

These are a very high quality set of basic gouges for hand-carving and decorating wood projects. Very comfortable in the hand, precision-sharpened edges that hold their sharpness, built to last a lifetime.

I'm just staring out with woodworking, specifically with guitars and these tools work great for someone just getting into the craft. Great craftsmanship and nice and sharp.

I was hoping they would be sharper out of the box. I had to sharpen them myself. But, you get what you get for the price. They hold an edge after sharpening. The bandaids included with the tools was a humorous touch.

Amazing kit of gouges that come incredibly sharp, right out of the box. The angled gouge is perfect for carving the bowl out for a spoon, better than others I have.

The carving set is a gift to our son and we cannot be more pleased with its apparent quality. A credit to the manufacturer and seller. I am a retired carpenter and would be more than happy to own this carving set myself.
