This is way better than anticipated. It is made of wood and is very thick and has a good weight to it. I am very pleased with it and my mom was so excited when she received it for her birthday. Definitely recommend if you want a nice and thoughtful gift that won't break the bank!

Frame itself is much nicer than expected. Didnt give 5 stars as it is meant to be sunwashed or distressed and due to that the wood in one area took the stain darker and it looks like a blemish rather than adding to rustic appeal and detracts and catches eye. I love the frame though and may use milk paint on it and redo.
