Great! Cheap, fits easily in to my eco brita jug, just make sure to push it down firmly to prevent any leakage. Can be a bit of a faff taking it out to clean though, I have to wiggle the handle a certain way to ensure It all comes out together. Great filtered water (though I’m not an expert of this stuff), easy to install, so happy I brought these, love that it comes with a reusable case for the pod, though I hope I don’t have to rebuy this case with every pack due to waste for the planet

I wanted a more sustainable filter for my Brita jug and found this which is great, fits well and is biodegradable too !

I was eagerly looking forward to using this product after several recycling schemes in the past have been discontinued or are restricted to one specific brand. Delighted not to have to put a plastic cartridge into landfill! We have a large water dispenser, our one-cup water boiler has a filter, as does our Tassimo, and we have a fridge jug. We have previously used 60 day filters so being restricted to '4 weeks or 100 litres whichever comes sooner' is a bit of a blow, it has increased our usage and therefore the cost. It's a truism that the responsible people who want to do their best to recycle invariably end up paying a premium to do so, either in a more expensive though sustainable product, or in the cost of recycling via Terracycle or similar. I won't comment on the effect of the filter on the taste of the water as I think this is subjective, one person will think it is better than the other person. But I disagree that the pods pass the water through as quickly as Brita or easily available alternative filters, our experience is that it is a very slow rate of filtration, and can take 5 to 6 times longer. This is a bind but would not stop us using them because of the disposal benefits. But beware, you will not save money, rather you will pay handsomely for your passion and desire to improve your sustainability!

Great idea, somewhat eco friendly too. But doesn't fit my Brita jug! The unit does not go down enough to open up the valve to allow the water to flow through.

These weren’t the first biodegradable filters I bought as tried ones where you have to fill the up the pod with the granules, however found those awkward and as I have a clear kettle, wasn’t convinced the others filtered brilliantly as after a couple of uses, I started to see a fair build up of limescale, so thought I would try these. So much better and easier to use and so far the kettle looks clear from limescale and on 2nd pod, water tastes as good as when have used the plastic version plus you can order a bundle, started with just 3 to test them out but will be ordering the larger bundle going forward. Extremely happy and feel so much better that I am not using multiple plastic cartridges. Found my new filter cartridges, very happy.

I was using PhoxWater refillable pods but they are rather messy and cumbersome, so I thought I'd give these a try instead. They work really well. You just pull out the filter section from the reusable filter pod, and slide in another, job done. No mess or fuss. For my filter jug I had to install the supplied adapter. That snapped into place very easily and the water started to come out (before the filter it wouldn't let the water through). As for taste. I don't drink plain water, but it certainly hasn't altered the taste of squash or coffee in any way (compared to other filters I used).

I read the filter reviews here, and thought I’d give this more environmentally friendly version of my regular filter a try. It claims compatibility with Matra Plus, but it really isn’t. The water will not drain through the water jug, the filter is not compatible with the valve. After 24 hrs, not one drop of water had come through the filter. I tried using the spout attachment to aid water flow, but it snapped clean off the first time I tried to use it. Instructions are very poor. I was left with a choice. Do i return these, or do I permanently damage the valve in my water jug to get the water to flow. The jug is a few years old, and is looking a little scuffed, so so I opted to damage it, and replace later. So, now the valve is modified/broken, the water is flowing. The filter seems to be cleaning the water well, doing as good a job as my regular filter, but i likely won’t use these refills in the future. If you have to damage your jug to get a third party filter to work, then it’s not compatible. It just isn’t. Normally, i would give a product like this one star, but it is actually filtering well.

We have tried several alternatives to Brita filters from main supermarkets and other stores. We started off with the starter kit and we were not disappointed. None of other alternatives are as environmental friendly and economical as these filters. No more brown floating bits in your tea. What's even better is that you are no longer throwing away the plastic casing that the filters come in. Every household should have them. On average, each filter lasts a month. Make sure you read and follow the instructions on how to replace them. We've ordered a 12-pack earlier this month and the Royal Mail delivery never turned up. We contacted the seller and we were very impressed by how responsive they were. The new 12-pack arrived via DPD in record time. Thank you PurePods.

Ho acquistato il prodotto dopo aver letto le recensioni che solo in pochi casi sono risultate negative. Le cartucce hanno stessa forma e grandezza delle originali, il problema risiede nel fatto che l'adattatore da inserire nella parte inferiore e che deve incastrarsi con la brocca consenendo all'acqua filtrata di scendere è totalmente diversa; per via di questo problema la cartuccia non s'incastra e fluttua nell'acqua. Maggior chiarezza eviterebbe perdite di tempo e altri disagi.

Il faut bien penser à mettre le petit adaptateur et ne pas enfoncer le pod dans le support sinon cela ne fonctionne pas...

Acquistati come soluzione ecologica e sostitutiva dei classici BRITA. Nessuna differenza di qualità con quelli di marca, ma soluzione consigliata per chi ci tiene all'ambiente dato che si può riciclare facilmente.

Très bonne filtration, un peu longue lors de la mise en service d'une nouvelle cartouche, puis après quelques passages le débit augmente. Aucun arrière goût, ni amertume, ni goût salé. L'eau est agréable a consommer. Ces cartouches sont excellentes voir meilleures que les Brita premier prix.

Ho voluto provare questa alternativa più eco-friendly dei filtri originali Brita. Purtroppo è stata un'esperienza deludente. L'idea è molto buona di per sé. Il fatto è che di tre filtri: - uno ha filtrato male, lasciando il gusto di cloro e calcare nell'acqua - gli altri due hanno lasciato uno strano gusto di cartone: acqua imbevibile Sono tornato ai filtri Maxtra+ originali. Sconsigliato.
