Replacement for almond flour: Has anyone tried a full replacement in a recipe or what is the recommended ratio?

Is the skin of the bean removed before milling?

YES! Aviate Foods premium lupini products do have their skin removed prior to milling. This process is called "dehulling" and is one of the main reasons why Aviate Foods stands out above the competition. The outer shell is less nutritionally dense (and contains more carbs) than the inner seed. Therefore, all of our products use the more labor intensive and expensive (takes more lupinis per lb of flour) dehulled method. This is one reason why our products are less bitter than the competition and have better nutritional stats. Only 1g net carb and 80 calories per serving.
