i like the sharp action here, I own a Great Pyrenees, Lucy who is getting close to 14 yrs of age, her fur is thick needs a lot of upkeep, I just got these Hand Shears was a bit skeptical because look like weed trimmers, for grass etc... But boy did they work fast and good,,, Was easy on my hands, a quick efficient job keep the dog still and Job done... I definitely would recommend these... Lucy is all smiles tonight as she is guarding the house tonight under the stars....

Very sharp, too easy to nick or cut a chunk of flesh off the animal or yourself, so be careful!! The blades are too long, but I needed them to be super pointed at the ends to get into the fiber, so it's a trade off, since no others had such a point.

I am not using these to sheer sheep. I’m using this in my garden. I bought them to trim grass because the blades are so long. They also trim hedges. I absolutely love these sheers. I use them ALL the time. Extremely well-made. Very very very sharp. Heavy.

This is my second pair, because I love these shears. I have Angora goats and use them and my electric shears. They are sharp, cut beautifully, and are easy to sharpen. Great tool for an extremely reasonable price! Would not want to be without these!
