Good cordless circular saw for the price.
Unfortunately, the first day I used it I tightened the screw that adjusts the depth of the blade, and the metal screw snapped easily at the head. Maybe I overtightened, but it didn't feel like it.Additionally, I found out only after purchasing it, that there are almost no alternative blades for this saw. Its dimensions seem to be specific to only the blade it comes with (150mm blade, 16mm bore, 1.6mm thickness). If you want more teeth for a cleaner cut, this saw is not the one for you.

My first battery saw
I needed a circular saw for a number of projects and as I already had a Bosch drill that took the same batteries, and I had two batteries, I eventually decided to purchase this after reading many reviews. Honestly, it was a genuinely hard decision as I was initially sceptical of the battery thing, but swayed by how well the drill has lasting on a charge.I needn't have worried.The quality of the cut and the ease of using the tool over long cut runs without worrying about cables has really impressed me. I've not seen any of the little issues that others have reported. I'm also impressed with the guide rail. it tightens easily and genuinely runs smoothly, which is more than I can say for my old circular saw.As a final note, Bosch do an extended warranty if the device is registered within four weeks of purchase.All in all, I'm rather pleased.
