Berklee Rock Guitar Chord Dictionary

Rock Chord Dictionary
Peckham crams a lot into 120 pages! What I really like it what he left out. Mainly a lot of chords I'll never use. What he does include are open position chords, power chords, triads, barre chords, open tunings, and a capo transposition chart. This is a helpful tool when trying to figure out other voicings for chords you may already know in one position, but no where else. Learning the other voicings also aids in learning the notes on the neck and cementing the construction of the chords in you head. This is a Rock Chord dictionary, if your looking for a more comprehensive book that has jazz chords, then this isn't the book you want. IF you're a beginner this is a good book to learn from. If you're more advanced it's a good reference book, when you need a little "refresher"Would be nice if it was spiral bound, but don't let that stop you from checking it out.

Perfectly comprehensive
This dictionary covers open chord positions, power chords, barre chords, and triads. This and other Berklee guitar dictionaries focus on a few common voicings but ultimately point the reader toward triads and how chords are constructed, rather than an all-encompassing reference, which would be unwieldy and unhelpful.

Handy dictiory but way too appreviated
Berklee Rock Guitar Chord dictionary contains the seeds of chords theory but is extremely brief on providing chords. Berklee generally produces great books but this little "dictionary" disappoints.

Muy completo.
Muy buen manual para introducirse en la guitarra de rock y música moderna en general. Muy recomendable para todos los estudiosos de la guitarra eléctrica.
