I like it because isn’t that big as the other crimpers and fits my pouch perfectly

This is a pretty good network cable crimper but it really needs to come with some instructions.I terminated a few cables with this and it performed well.There are a couple of things I didn't like in addition to the lack of instructions. Due to lack of instructions, I really don't know what the purpose of the lock button is. And I was not able to cleanly crimp shielded cable jacks. The head crimped fine but this is built to wrap the metal wings around the cable on a shielded cable jack, but I couldn't figure out how to do it properly. And for me, it was the main reason I ordered the tool, because my other two crimping tools do not have this feature. I used this cable crimper with the newer pass through style Cat 6 RJ45 connectors to make drops and ends of long runs. Easy to use, worked perfect every time. I like that it locks to take up a little less space, and it works every time. Also crimps RJ11/RJ12, although I haven't used any of these in years. A good crimping tool, recommended.
