There are various melodic musical tracks to listen to while the CD does its job (with different genres each track), and the brushes are glued on neatly. Other reviews are correct in that the brushes are pushed down in the flimsy CD case, but that doesn't impact their ability to clean (they'd be pushed down in the CD player anyhow). My problem: My car's CD player stopped working correctly, constantly displaying the words "check disc" on multiple discs that were clean without scratches. As it moved through the additional tracks (6 total) it would sometimes experience a bit of the same issues in skipping. Each time, I ejected the disc, blew on the bristles and resumed it from the track that had issues. Finally, after all 6 tracks were successfully played, I tried a handful of random CDs & DVD and everything works just fine and dandy! I am impressed! I now need to run this cleaning disc through the CD player radios in our classic/collector cars as I know they have never been cleaned. As the cleaning disc does its thing, it plays different songs throughout the 6 tracks and runs about 20 minutes or so (add time if you need to restart like I did). Every song on every CD skipped so bad, as if I was driving on the most rocky road imaginable . Wasn't sure if the car should be running or not.
