Provided you have a much sturdier allen wrench than the one provided, and you can decipher the directions, this shelf is a virtual snap. Certainly not at all heavy, and seems to work well.

Don't get me wrong, this is a cute bookshelf, but it is alittle wobbly. I wouldn't recommend it for a child's room, but it works well in my office.

Very flimsy. The holes drilled for assembly dont match up and the one front leg is 1 inch off ground, have to put something under it to make it level.

It was as described, fits my space nicely and just what I wanted. Instructions could be better and shelves just a little bit stronger.

We find the open concept very useful for bigger items and the flexibility to hold many irregularly shaped items all at once. Versatile, adjustable and fairly easy to assemble. Sturdy quality (metal), stable and sleek, fairly priced. Warning, do not overload it. Overall happy with our purchase!
