You just continuous press the Red button 2 times, the message will be display normal.

Q: Where do you download the app for this hat?

It tells you in the directions that come with the hat. Either the Apple App Store or Google App Store. Depending on if you have an iPhone or an Android. BTW mine is working great. Easy to use.

Yes, you can edit message by App and send it , the message will correct display on the led hat.
