Believe it or not.....I bought this product at the suggestion and recommendation of several really good, old school gunsmiths I know.As any knowledgeable gun owner knows....guns in storage have only two enemies: rust and politicians. The goal is to store your firearms as "dry" as possible but with sufficient lubrication on them....especially on metal to metal surfaces.... Too much lubrication attract dirt, dust and debris and gums up your storage area.....too dry and with too little lube and you have rust or metal to metal contact on moving surfaces with insufficient lubrication which equals excessive wear on critical points.Both of these gunsmiths said that this was, in their opinion, the finest small dose lubricant they had ever found. I ordered a bottle and, along with it, a dozen or so small plastic bottles with needle like applicator tips. This allows me to carefully pinpoint where my oil goes on my weapons after cleaning and reassembly and it allows me to easily control the amount.After a while of using this as my sole weapon lube, I highly recommend it and several of my friends have ordered bottles of their own. One bottle should last you for many years given how little you need to get the job done. It sure makes the action on the weapons light and smooth and you can't hardly tell it is on the weapon.. Great product for what I am using it for.

On the advice of a master 1911 maker, i use this oil on all my firearms. The gun lube industry has limited dollars for research; the racing industry has tons and as a result, this high heat oil is perfect for my 1911s, revolvers, plastic fantastics, etc.A little bit goes a long way and using precision needle oilers can be applied with care. HIGHLY recommend.
