A disappointment
I felt this Book required more direction for the writer it is essentially a notebook with two sides of instructions and the odd quote even the sturdiness of the volume does not make it giftable . The price is not reflected in its content , even the quality of paper isn’t comfortable to write on. I may continue to night Journal after this book is finished I will get a blank notebook and not notice the difference

Stylish and inspiring.
Journaling has been a part of my life on and off for a while, both written and art. I was looking for a quality one that would help order thoughts during this difficult time. The reasons I love this one are -I often look at a blank page and have no idea how to start ordering my thoughts! The echo - end of day journal, is perfect because it comes with advice on how to use it! They have taken concepts from some of the world's leading psychologists in designing it and it helps you make the most of the journal. At the front is guidance on Reflection, Gratitude and Affirmations and best of all, prompting you to Just Write and not get hung up on how tidy or messy your sentences are. You can just vent your emotions over a bad day or leave prompts on what you need to do the next day. It is simply about letting go, moving on and planning a more positive future. What I also loved is the quality of the journal. The cover is a gorgeous pale grey with the inspiring quote Tomorrow Starts Tonight. It looks and feels incredibly stylish! The inside has pages for you to write reflect on your day, with printed reminders of the core ideas behind this journal. Prompts on how you might fill the pages, reflection, gratitude, affirmations. The paper you write on feels thick and of good quality. Interspersed are quotes from inspirational thinkers such as the Dalai Lama and simple quotes such as I dream. I believe. I receive. You can mark the page you are using with the matching ribbon, and place important pieces of information in the pocket at the back. Hold it closed with the elastic band and place your favourite pen in the loop at the side.It really is the perfect little journal.

Disappointing quality and content
This looked as if it would be a nice thing to use each day to write down one’s thoughts and with content to help make one feel grateful for what one has. However, it’s a disappointment. It’s basically a notebook with a few random motivational quotes on the occasional page - and not a particularly good notebook at that, with rather cheap thin paper. Disappointing.

Lovely packaging, nice fabric finish to journal, lined pages
This has a lovely box which it can be stored in.The finish to the hard cover on the journal is lovely, it’s fabric and printed with the words ‘Tomorrow starts tonight’ in good quality print, nice sharp edges to the letters. It has a loop to store a pen so there’s always a pen when you want to write your thoughts down. The first few pages give you some guidance and how to write your journal, headings are ‘Using the Journal’, ‘Reflection’, ‘Gratitude’, ‘Affirmations’ and ‘Just write. The remainder of the journal are lined pages for you to write your thoughts. I was hoping for more on the blank pages to help guide your thoughts each evening. I’m not a diary writer and need some pointers on the page to guide my thoughts. My first impressions of this journal were good, but looking at the content within the journal I think I could do the same in any notebook which would be cheaper. However we are all different and perhaps you prefer to have blank pages so that you can be more creative.I think this would make an ideal gift for a journal writing friend.

Disappointing
This is seriously disappointing. It has 4 short paragraphs at the beginning for some tips and it's interspersed with motivational thoughts to think about. It's little more than a line notebook. It is bound nicely with a grey cover and has a pen holder. It comes in a smart box which gives the impression that this is going to be a worthwhile journal and if it was the packaging is smart for buying as a gift. For the price there are other journals out there that have so much more, at a similar price, with prompts, tips and exercises.

A nice journal for daily reflections
Journaling has become popular again in recent years thank you to philosophies such as stoicism where you're encouraged to jot down your thoughts and reflect upon them in order to grow. This particular journal, honestly, is more like a good quality notebook. That isn't a bad thing really, but given the impressive packaging it comes in and nice fabric cover, I expected a bit more from the pages themselves. I think this makes it harder to recommend as a gift, which is what I initially felt it was designed for. Instead, it's much more something you'd purchase for yourself in order to get started journaling.Inside the book you will find mostly plain lined A5 pages. However, there are some nice philosophical quotes scattered throughout on greyed out pages. There's also a nice guide at the start of the book that covers how and why you might use the journal. I found this very useful and if you ever get stuck on what to write, you can flick back to it and be inspired. The journal also has a silk bookmark and elastic band to keep it closed with an elasticated pen holder as well. So, overall, I really did like this journal and found it inspiring enough that I've been using it on a daily basis. I would say that at £19.99 it seems quite expensive and it's not the high-quality gift I was expecting, but if you're looking for your first journal to get started with the practice I think this is a good buy.

Nice, but overpriced
This is a very nice journal for you to reflect on your day and plan for the next day. Very good quality, well made. It has motivational quotes here and there, but it contains mostly blank, lined pages. It comes in a nice box, making it suitable for gift giving. I have a lot of journals and have been journaling since I was a child. While this book is nice, in my opinion, it is way overpriced. Other journals which are just as nice, or even nicer cost at least half what this one does. For the cost, it is a bit underwhelming.
