Bushnell Golf Tour V4 Slope Laser Rangefinder

I have had this range finder for long enough to write a review. I have had 0 issues with it and it delivers a solid yardage with slope accounted for. If it could only account for wind I might break 90 a bit more consistently. It does what you expect it to. I know this was a China version that saved me around $100 and at 1st I was apprehensive. don't be. Save some money and go ahead and make the purchase.

This replaced an older Bushnell Rangefinder I had for 5 years before I got the dreaded E12 error. Much smaller than the older unit and picks up targets very quickly. I like that I can turn off slope. Case is padded and secure with a zipper to put it away and a quick strap for frequent use. No problem at all with this unit. I like rangefinders as opposed to gps because I can shoot any target I want. I play early and the only time gps is better is when it is really foggy in the morning. Much rather know the distance to the actual flag though instead of front/back/middle. There can be a club difference at times. I use it all the time and not just for golf.

It's so nice to have the rangefinder when you're golfing. It's easy to use so it's way faster than looking for yardage markers, etc. I just wish they had a safety feature like a passcode so if you lose it, it's no good for anyone else so the odds of them returning it to the clubhouse increases.

I thought this was the “switch” version. It wasn’t. Still a very good range finder, it’s just not one you could use in serious tournament play. I still like the rangefinder. I did get the “Asian pack” and I’m not real sure what the difference is, other than a sticker that said “Asian pack” on it. So, if you are gonna buy this rangefinder definitely buy the Asian pack. I’ve never had a rangefinder before, so this may be normal, but I played in fog for the first time. It wasn’t bad and it just would not pick uo the flag, even around 100 yards out. Overall it is a good rangefinder

Read other reviews before buying mine. I've had my Tour X for about 1 month now & am very pleased. Focus works fine, doesn't stick (or is hard) like others reported. It can be a bit dark when looking for target but hasn't really been an issue. Depending on distance from flag & the type of reflector on the pin, unit will pick up trees/object behind flag. However, as long as you cross-reference your yardage w/ nearest yard marker, you can re-shoot & get accurate yardages. Confidence & accuracy has improved knowing exact yardage (w/ slope mode). I play courses in middle Georgia that have varying elevation from tee to green & find the slope feature to be a game changer. I found the Bushnell to be a good bang for the buck & so far I'm very happy with my purchase.

I used my range finder on the course and it gives you exact distance every time! My brother in law told me he didn't need to use it because he had the Bushnelll watch. But as it turns out the watch didn't have the golf course listed in his watch because the course was new - only 2 years old. So he had to depend on my range finder after all.

I purchased the unit that was in the Asian packaging as it was much cheaper. Kind of a no brainer as far as I am concerned. Packing box was in english as well as a few other languages. The manual was also in english as well as a few other languages. Have no idea why the Asian packaging was $80 less in price, but glad I was not a fool to pay for the American packaging. Nice rangefinder, what you would expect from Bushnell. Having the slope displayed is a nice feature for my golf game.

Very good, I would recommend it to anyone who is loves the game of golf easy to use, accurate readings, golf is so much more fun

It arrived. A bit slower than I hoped. However, it did not work! I'm now in the process of explaining with the supplier I don't want it repaired I want a new one or refund. Bushnell have been totally uninterested.

My son and I just got back from a golfing holiday in the States and used to this rangefinder every day for a week. It provides a clear, sharp image and much better accuracy to the pin than our GPS watch — since the holes are regularly moved around the greens. This rangefinder is also great for measuring distances to bunkers or over water, which can be very helpful in club selection. I’m glad we paid the extra cost for Bushnell — it’s worth every penny!

This rangefinder is small and compact compared to the other rangefinders that I have used. The accuracy is pretty compared to the golf cart GPS or a GPS watch. It is easy to use so that it doesn't hold up your group. Its great to get distances to the green but also setting up your next shot. This should improve your golf score through better course management. Consider this rangefinder if you are looking!
