As someone who eats spicy food on the regular, the spice level of these noodles were greatly blown out of proportion. I think they have a nice spice level, but it's not anything unmanageable. My wife and I--even my 4 year old--eat these noodles for dinner. Have some tissues nearby, but if you're regularly accustomed to eating spicy foods, you have nothing to worry about. If you're a spice lightweight, these could be a challenge, or a milestone marker in your progress. There are many other foods out there much spicier!The noodle quality itself was good, and the flavor packets provided a nice meal straight out of the box!

The red x2 spicy pack is VERY spicy. I love spicy stuff, and I can finish a bowl but it's painful. It's good though, just something you have to eat sparingly. My biggest problem is that the black package just seems a little too mild. The discrepancy between the levels of spiciness is huge.

The noodle packs weren't crumbs like most other ramen products arrive to my house. Haven't tried the red "2x" noodles yet but the black packs do a very good job of clearing the sinuses lol. Flavor and quality of noodles are leagues above any other ramen brands I've had, but I would recommend cooking them for a minute less (if following the manufacturers instructions) and adding the sauce packet halfway through cooking so the noodles have more time to absorb the broth flavor and won't be as soggy by the time they're cool enough to eat.

I love this product and the price is reasonable. If u are not into spicy food this isn’t for you, the 2x spicy ramen will make u sweat and the regular one will give you just enough kick for you to enjoy the amazon flavor of the sauce. In my opinion the flavor is like nothing I ever tasted before and is so good!
