Was everything they said it would do,and works nice and slow,No baby fingers get hurt anymore.Only troubles I had was where it fastens to the door. Instructions are kind of poor for someone who never used this type of lid or door closer before.Use sample door first,I had to re drill the holes a few times to get it right.When you get it right it works great.

There were no installation intructions. Once I figured that out, it creaks REALLY LOUDLY when it shuts. Not a good buy.

Just put this in a cedar chest. So far works well. Instructions not very helpful. One right side up but the next is upside down. If not mechanically inclined this is not your product.

Works wonderfully, once you sit down and read the instructions...I had some trouble as I'm not so handy - to try to figure out how to get this installed on my son's clothing hamper (which he was continuously hurting his finger on, as the lid just slams down quickly) - but once I sat down and measured the places for the holes (in mm) - it worked out perfectly. Wish there was a youtube tutorial on this one though. I couldn't understand how the soft close was going to work without actually going in and drilling the holes into the clothing hamper side. Was a little strong for my light lid, but works just fine.

Closes lid very slowly so no more pinched fingers. Instructions are in metric and takes a little to figure out but once installed works great.

Not easy to adjust the rate of closure.

Works perfectly - easy to install. Provides the safety that I needed for my grandchild's toy chest to prevent smashed fingers.

Once installed worked perfectly.Was slightly tedious to install and instructions were in metric and not very detailed, but was able to install on first go around with no adjustments afterward.
