Passive Thunderbolt 4 Cable

I use one in my truck the other to connect my mac mini m4 to my thunderbolt 4 ssd enclosurer. The fit snug the cable is built sturdy and absolutely no issues with my Kia to Samsung s25 and the mac to external ssd...Cable will not disappoint

I got this cable specifically to plug my phone into my external monitor in my car so that I would not lose GPS signal when my phone was plugged into it. This cable does that well and after using this cable, no more GPS signal loss while using my monitor in my car! I can now use Samsung Dex and GPS in my car! It's a well made and properly insulated cable that prevents interference from the vehicles electrical system with the GPS in your phone. I just bought a second one for my other vehicle for that exact same reason. On a side note it's a great cable for other tasks that would require you to have a Thunderbolt 4 cable on hand!

Works great with my Mac mini. I was able to transfer computers much more efficiently. For the price, this is definitely one to buy!

Hands down the best USB C cable on the market. Fits like a snug, extremely flexible, & SUPER FAST CHARGING. Not to mention super fast data connection speed, isn't as clunky as it's predecessor cable but better very flexible & feels durable.. High quality Thunderbolt 4 cable with a genuine Intel certification that you can check for yourself on the Thunderbolt website. Both Thunderbolt and USB compatible. I use mine for super fast charging my phone and for data transfers from a portable SSD. More flexible than USB4 cables that can do the same 40 Gbps data transfer rate / 240W charging; my USB4 cable in the same length that supports the same stuff is a bit stiffer. The Thunderbolt logos on either end of the cable are clearly labeled but the 240W charging label on the insulation is slightly difficult to see without looking very closely. Excellent cable overall.

(At the time of this review these were selling for $28.99 for the .8m length - hopefully this will decline) Recently I purchased a Thunderbolt 4 system, docking station, and accessories and had to shop for cables that could support all USB and Thunderbolt data and charging modes. These are the first set I've purchased that actually consistently work at the maximum data throughput and power output supported by whatever they are connected to. It is a bit frustrating to once again be dealing with a set of standards where all USB C-type ports, cables, and accessories are different and not-necessarily backward compatible. It also means that we will likely be seeing more off-brand products misrepresenting their capabilities to get an Amazon sale. I would especially shy away from "USB 4" cables "claiming" to also be Thunderbolt compatible but lacking the certification as two other less expensive, generic cables I picked up were basically heavy-duty USB cables that could not consistently operate with genuine Thunderbolt devices. The price at the time of purchase was a bit off-putting as getting a pair of these into my road-warrior bag was a $60 investment, but as I've come to expect from Cable Matters products they are very well constructed and work as advertised. If you need the speed, power, compatibility and want to carry as few cables as you have to for traveling (or simply need true Thunderbolt 4 throughput and power), these cables will get the job done.

You can feel the quality out of the bag! Amazing speed for transfer to my external hard drive and great charging speed for my other USB-C devices!

Strong and fast function, connects securely and works as described providing full performance that I expect to last longer than alternatives I tried before this. Great price.

Physically it’s a nice quality rubber coated cable. It’s decently thick and robust. I don’t see this getting damaged at the connectors or like. I’d assume this will last many years. As far as function goes; it does everything I could expect a Thunderbolt cable to do. I use it to connect my MacBook Air to a Thunderbolt dock. Signal for a 1440p monitor, power to charge my laptop and speedy Ethernet all travel bidirectionally over the cable. (Well the power doesn’t go backwards…) I like this cable as it’s long enough for my needs without being too long and it does all I’ve the above real nicely!

works like intended, I'm backing up data/transferring files with less time even than the official Samsung 5A cable
