Review
The term "customer service" would always bring to my mind an unpleasant vision of a long wait on "hold." It didn't have to be that way. And as a business person who tends toward doing everything myself, I am impressed by Rick Grassi's dissection of "service" into simple easy to recognize basics. In The Little Customer Service Book, he presents twenty eight components of our dialogues with customers. If your high school and college student employees can learn these, not to mention you and I, more money will be made. And these precepts apply to every part of our lives, not just actual customers, but a how-to of making friends. A good book, it should be in schools.

Short and simple
This book was short, simple, and to the point. That's the way I like self-help books.

Judith Ferber - Health Care Professional
Aside from "The Customer Is Always Right" this concise handbook and its simplicity outlines how service people can effectively accomplish these goals.Working with patients, physicians and staff members in the Healthcare environment this hand book is written with basic hints and common sense, especially listening to the customer helps to comfort their needs. Patients are often hurting and uncomfortable and when scheduled for a variety of tests they become anxious. Taking the time to explain and listen eases their anxiety.Overall, I would highly recommend "The Little Customer Service Book" to all phases of customer service.

A must read
Anyone in customer service should definitely nab this. It’s lighthearted but also straight up to the point when dealing with customers and ourselves in a work setting.

Quick, helpful read
A little accumulation of insights valuable for employees and employers alike. Surprisingly interactive, heartfelt and anecdotal, people in any role can benefit from reminders of these ideally intuitive (though rarely so) behaviors.

Excuse me, it’s great!
I like how it’s a quick read with over 25 chapters that are about 1 1/2 pages long each. Lots of illustrated pictures. It was easy to skip over chapters that I felt comfortable with and focus on what I needed.
