I was afraid that the fine point would be too fine, but it isn't. It's just right. These TUL pens are smoother than other ballpoints I've used. They are so smooth that I checked the package because I thought they were gel pens. The other nice thing is that they're a little thicker in diameter than regular stick ballpoints, and the barrel is the same width from top to bottom making it easy to hold. They are retractable pens. Now all I need is a pack of four in black ink.
