I brought this product as you can have just the star feature, just the nebular feature or both, you can control the speed and the brightness, you can have it on an automatic colour changing setting or you can choose if you want just a particular colour continuously, my son love this and I like to relax in the evenings with this, also the stars twinkle slightly which you can also choose a speed setting for them too, good product for the price

This frame mounted star projector comes with a remote control, and that requires 2 AAA batteries, which are not included. You will need the remote to be able to control the projector, because there are no hard buttons for the lighting effects on the body of the projector.I recently ordered a star projector from Amazon that was cheaper than this, and I have to say, better. I'm not saying this one is bad at all, just not terribly inspiring after that one, and with less actual projection features than I would have liked to see.I like the cradle it sits in which enables you to angle the display as required. There is also a hook to hang it if required. It seems well built, and is quite an attractive design.The main issue with a projector like this is that it also tries to be a music player too, enabling you to stream music from your phone to the rather poor inbuilt speaker. I can see why that might appeal to a child, but personally I would rather have seen the money spent on providing a wider range of projector effects.The star, moon, and nebula/wave effects are quite limited, especially when compared with those on the projector I mentioned previously. Bluetooth connection was good, and didn't drop out, but the music quality from the little speaker isn't great, although perfectly adequate for a child's bedroom, on a low volume. There is a timer function on the remote control that will switch off the projector after  30, 60 or 120 minutes. You can cycle through a limited number of colours (7) all of which feature the same effects (wave/nebula effects), and you can add a star field. You can also alter the brightness of the display, and speed of the stars, and nebula. The remote also has volume up/down for the music function, and you can move to  previous, or next song, and Play/Pause any connected music source.Overall the projector is great for kids, where the lack of buttons on the main projector could well be a good thing, but I think adults will find it's limitations ultimately unsatisfying, particularly if they have seen others with better features, some of which are a similar price to this one.4 Stars if buying for kids, but adults might like to look elsewhere.

Great for a child’s bedroom to fall asleep to and would not take long. It turns 360 degrees and has a remote control to operate it. Not a lot of effects so may get bored of it after a while. Price is not too bad for what it is but could always be a little cheaper, there’s a lot of them to choose from on here. Would definitely recommend this one though.

The kids love this and so do the adults. It’s perfect if your having a little get together and at the same time it’s ideal in the kids room with some music playing. Really helps to get the kids to sleep . It’s a great price.
