I love the size of this sketchbook, the quality of the paper, and the perforated edge. It has been perfect for pen and pencil sketches, and it's the perfect size sketchbook for me to keep at my work desk. The thickness and texture of the paper is fine for my needs, but I do find some bleed through when I use markers. The front cover is thin, so it isn't a sketchbook that I'd carry around.

The paper quality and size meet my needs. I can use many media including even watercolor for sketch purposes. Selecting the 11x14 size allowed for a range of approaches. Great price for 2 sketch books too.

I'm really happy with these sketchbooks, specifically the quality and thickness of the paper. I mostly work with graphite and a little tinted graphite. They work great with graphite and hold up to the small amount of water needed for tinted graphite. I do have to say, these are not good travel sketchbooks, the pages are quite loose in the rings and I would worry about smudging your work if you carry it around. Perfect for the classroom/studio/studio though.

Love these drawing books! Use them for everything. I keep an extra supply in the house for grandkids who also love drawing on them!

About average, not too thin. My only problem with it, is how easily the perforated papers detaches, just from reg handling. So for me, its inconvenient to have pages, I blank pages, I thought were secure, constantly falling out on their own. Not unusual to find blank pages on floor.

Good quality paper. My adult son loves using this product.

I love them and they arrived right on time. I am an artist. I use Mixed Media Pads to sketch out ideas, play with colors and color mixing, journaling my work with color swatches, practice brush/palette knife strokes and taking notes about my process. I also have a mixed media pad for painted devotionals. I do a devotional and paint/draw what comes to mine during the devotional. I have multiple MIxed Media pads going at the same time, depending on what I am working on. These are great for acrylic or water color paint, paint pens, watercolor pencils, sharpies, lead & chalk pencils and coal. Thick pages prevent bleed through and they don’t roll up when wet.

I use these journals for a Daily Drawing Challenge and these have been very good for the various mediums. The price is reasonable.

I purchased those to use with watercolor but I find it's horrible with this medium! I don't like the texture, even for drawing with pencils, markers or pens... The paper rapidly disintegrates and leaves tiny paper "rolls" or "bits" (I don't know how to name it!), and it doesn't stay flat even with just a little water. Maybe some people appreciate it but I clearly don't understand what could be appreciated in this kind of paper...
